Jul-12-17  lunchwithgina: I would have chosen 19...e3 but I thought white was OK until 22 e3 (why not 22 Kh1?). I was surprised by how fast white went downhill after 22...Ne5. Not Aronian's best day.

Maybe 22. Kh1 Bf7 (threatening both BxR and Bxg3)

Jul-13-17  rajaonn: Way to Go HariKrishna. You have just Put in the Backyard garbage this space openings such as C4-English. Very thorough analysis you made on. allowed white to trade off minors, and kept a brisk control towards endgame. Master Class and we take it as a black repertoire for C4. Classy

Be careful about that, because White was doing well until 20.f4.

Jul-13-17  Marmot PFL: Aronian reminds me a bit of Larsen - strong, creative player but lacking caution at times.
Jul-13-17  ChessHigherCat: The obvious move was 20. e4 but after f4 black is threatening f3 or fxg and white has diddlysquat, which is probably why Aronian played 20. f4 instead.
Jul-14-17  Ulhumbrus: Could Aronian have underestimated Harikrishna?
Jul-14-17  WorstPlayerEver: With 1. e4 you won't get into such trouble.
Jul-15-17  morfishine: Aronian is clearly off form

Either that, or he's monumentally unprepared for this major tournament
