Jul-21-17  fisayo123: A win here would have put Fedoseev in a good position to win the tournament. How many chances did Fedoseev need to win a won game? I understand the endgame is complex but for such a great player, the amount of poor decisions he made in this game is staggering. Not one of his best days for sure.

tamar: Golden Treasury of Chess 25 h5!! to Gilded Trashcan of Chess 32 Qxe6?

Still a fantastic conception by Fedoseev. 32 e4 would have capped it all, making Black exchange and giving White too many pawn threats.

Fusilli: Took me a minute to realize that if 28...hxg5? 29.Rxh8 Kxh8 30.Qh1+ wins.

Fusilli: Also, 53.a6? It seems to me that white has to play 53.Rh3 for 54.Rb3. Hard to see how to lose that. There may even be winning chances.
Jul-21-17  CountryGirl: Hmmm. I thought Caro Kanns were supposed to be boring...
