  Marmot PFL: 35...Nf4! 36 Rd7+ Qxd7 37 cxd7 Nxe2+ 38 Kf2 Rd5 39 Kxe2 a6 40 Nf4 Rxd7 would have saved the day.
Oct-27-18  dumbgai: I don't know what Naka was thinking with this opening. After allowing 9. Bxc6+ he has the bishop pair but his pawn structure is horrible. In most lines of the Ruy Lopez involving Bxc6 at least black still has his d-pawn.
Oct-30-18  John Abraham: Big Naka falls
Nov-08-18  Andrew Chapman: 35...Nf4 is an obvious possibility. I wonder what Nakamura thought he saw that made him reject it?
Nov-09-18  SChesshevsky: For 35...Nf4, apparently Naka missed 39...a6 from Marmot's line above and calculated 39...Rxd7 40. Bxa7, per Daniel King's review of the game.

I guess Naiditsch was in time trouble for much of the ending but it's not clear when or if Naka was rushed.
