Annie K.: Not sure we'll be able to get a relay, but let's give this a try. :)
Jan-07-20  WorstPlayerEver: For in case someone wants to know what the Candidate looks like:

Perhaps there should be a link to this on the main page.

Check It Out: Wow, a live WC game...
Jan-08-20  Boomie: Alas, they are on move 12 so apparently we can't get a feed.

Annie K.: Sorry, couldn't hook up to a relay. I thought that might happen - it's a problem with FIDE-sponsored events these days.

The timing isn't good for a manual relay either. We'll just have to import the game later. :/

We'll have live relay for Tata Steel.

Jan-08-20  jphamlore: Who is assisting Goryachkina? She has played this opening line herself recently, but here she tries 13. a4.
Jan-08-20  goodevans: <23...Ne5 24.dxe5 Rxd3> would have been interesting. SF reckons it's good for black but keeps changing its mind about just how good.

Things might have got fairly complicated if Goryachkina had continued <24.Qxb6 Rb7 25.h4>. In some lines white is a couple of pawns to the good but needs to withstand quite a bit of pressure.

Jan-08-20  fabelhaft: So the last 19 classical games in title matches have been drawn, the last four in Ju Wenjun vs Tan Zhongyi, the dozen in Carlsen vs Caruana and the first three here.
Jan-08-20  Diana Fernanda: 81......rook f5 check and rook xg5 draws.
