Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-22-05  Gantastic: Amusing how the Opening Explorer contains over a hundred "examples" of the line:

1. c4 e6
2. Nf3 d5
3. g3 Nf6
4. Bg2 Be7
5. O-O O-O
6. d4 dxc4
7. Qc2 a6
8. Qxc4 b5
9. Qc2 Bb7
10. Bd2 Be4

11. Qc1 Bb7
12. Qc2 Be4
13. Qc1 Bb7
14. Qc2 Be4
15. Qc1 Bb7
16. Qc2 Be4
17. Qc1 Bb7
18. Qc2 Be4
19. Qc1 Bb7
20. Qc2

Caused by OE's inclusion of transpositions, but amusing nonetheless, particularly because Qc2/Be4/Qc1/Bb7 are in each case the most common move for their respective positiions.

Cactus: Looking back, I apologise. By the way, do you make the puzzles yourself?
Nov-18-10  rapidcitychess: Can anyone give a good summary of the open Catalan? I've been playing it for a month or two, but only by ear.
