Dec-09-11  pinoymaster77: A searing pace by the defending champ with 7.5/8 with a full point lead, almost there!

Dec-10-11  giwgiw: Congrats IM Dimakiling for winning the 3rd Penang Heritage City International Chess Open 2011 ^^
Dec-10-11  dunkenchess: Our congratulations to IM Dimakiling!
Dec-12-11  pinoymaster77: I think no GM norm right, because of the usual rule of needing to play at least 3 GMs from 3 different Federations and having TPR > 2600.

Or is there other criteria, like based on strength (average ELO) of opposition, and he scored 8 pts, does he make the grade?

Mar-18-12  pinoymaster77: Nice outings in La Union Open with 8.5/11 for 3rd place, seeded 7th and then sa Candon Open eh seeded 4th, and finished 8th (5/7).

Shocked gmjoey in La Union which also set him up for a 2nd upset by NM Baga, hope this gives renewed vigor to your GM campaign !!

Will be following your next event...

berbanz: Soon-to-be GM Oliver Dimakiling, Goodluck to your games in the Brunei Campo Memorial! I understand that you are using your personal fund for this event, just to get that GM title and bring honor to our country and inspire more Pinoys, especially kids.

Isa kang makabagong Bayani ! At ngayong Araw ng mga Bayani, MABUHAY ka Dimax!!!

Huwag ka lang magsusuot ng pink diyan or papasok sa parlor, baka hindi ka palaruin.

Apr-14-12  pinoymaster77: GM Candidate Dimaks is aggressive, tactical player pag sa overseas madalas kapusin. Sana makuha na tamang timpla and simula sa Semis ng Natl Open/Olympiad qualifiers in June eh start to assert his place in PHI chess, go to BOGM!
Apr-22-12  pinoymaster77: Meron pala nito accidentally nakita sa chess-results.com na ka-update lang Campo Rapid event in Malaysia, 11 rounds over 2 days w/c started yesterday, 5 Pinoys seeing action...

IM Rathnakaran had a hot streak including wins over 4 GMs! Then got stopped in rd8 by GM Attila of Hungary, the current leader with 7/8...

Apr-22-12  pinoymaster77: Tim, yup ok lang multiple sites naman open habang naka-online.

Nice strong finish by IM Dimaks, after some setbacks in rd4 to GM Vakhidov and in rd6 to GM Filippov eh he rattled off 5 straight wins from rounds 7 to 11 including wins over GMs Murtas and Megaranto, finishing with 8.5pts tied with GM Rich at the top, and finishing 2nd after the tiebreaks!

Are you responding to somebody here?

Jun-09-12  pinoymaster77: Dimaks,

Bangka ka daw sa kuwentuhan with the Masters/players pag tournament and usually bida ka projecting an image na matino. Marupok ka din pala and yung previous respect of your fellow ex-LaSallian just went down the drain.
