In November 2020, he tied for first place with IM Praveen Balakrishnan in the Charlotte Chess Center's Thanksgiving 2020 GM Norm Invitational held in Charlotte, North Carolina with an undefeated score of 6.5/9

  Penguincw: Congrats to Kamil Dragun for his performance at the Bangkok Chess Club Open (2015). Entering as the 7th seed, he finished with 7.5/9, included ending on a 5 game winning streak, and beating 2nd seed Vallejo-Pons along the way. He finishes in a 3-way tie for 1st, but 3rd overall.

Rating wise, he'll go from 2576 to 2581 (+5.2), as he continues his journey to attempt to reach the top 10 Polish players.
