I still cannot find the period key on this computer and so all my sentences are not exclamations! I should probably just stop posting in that case

Jan-22-07 | | Dr.Lecter: <chess classics> Looks like you've found the period key. Or is it just a different computer? |
|
Jan-30-07 | | Chess Classics: <Dr.Lecter> I typed my first few posts on this page on a small computer in a small youth hostel in a small city in Southern Italy =) The keyboard there was very strange, so it took some getting used to. Regards,
CC |
|
Feb-01-07 | | Dr.Lecter: <CC> Let me guess, the keybodard was small like the small computer in a small youth hostel in a small city? |

Mar-03-07 | | Chess Classics: I thought recently about submitting a game I played against a master about a year ago, he won in 25 moves, although the position was even until about move 18. I decided against it, mainly because it seemed like a lot of work, but also because it just wasn't a very good game. On an unrelated sidenote- After the game, we did a quick post-mortem, and it was kinda funny-I played little role, and he could see a lot more than I could, but he didn't seem to notice. Him: "You can't play Be3 because of the mate-"
Me: "What mate?"
Him: "You know, the mate in 4 after Ne5."
Me: "Oh, thaaaat mate."
Regards,
CC |

Mar-14-07 | | Benzol: Go on <Chess Classics> post the game. This file could do with some expansion. What about a bit of a bio too. |
|
Mar-20-07 | | dakgootje: <But he didn't seem to notice. (...) Me: "Oh, thaaaat mate." > _O_ Now, c'mon indeed! We want that game! =P |
|
Mar-21-07 | | Chess Classics: Thanks guys =) I'll see if I can find it.
Of course, the CC bashers will say that I made it up [hat tip to brankat] Regards,

Aug-13-07 | | brankat: <Chess Classics> It's been almost 5 months now. Still "working" on the game? :-) |
|
Aug-19-07 | | Chess Classics: Umm, yeah...
I've been trying to remember the moves for half a year, and just haven't been able to think of them. Sure is strange, huh? Regards,
CC |
|
Aug-21-07 | | brankat: <Chess Classics> I participated in about 2 dozen tourneys between 1966-1971. A very brief "career". I'm pretty sure some of the score-sheets are still alive somewhere back in my old country, at my fathers place. As for the the others, just like You, I'm still trying to remember the moves :-) |
|
Aug-22-07 | | Chess Classics: Five years isn't that brief. 'Course, it isn't that long, either. Regards,
CC |

 | | WannaBe: Strickly dependent on your time references... =) |
|
Aug-22-07 | | Chess Classics: Yeah, someday I'll probably miss being called "Young" Skywalker as opposed to just "Skywalker". Regards,
CC |
|
Aug-23-07 | | brankat: Or "Old" Skywalker' :-) |
|
Aug-24-07 | | Chess Classics: You have learned much, Old Skywalker...but you are not a Jedi yet. Regards,
CC |
|
Aug-25-07 | | brankat: Maybe after September 16th :-) |

Jan: Hello?
Michael: Happy Birthday Jan!
Jan: But, uh, it's not my birthday.
Michael: Really? I thought we had the same birthday.
Jan: *sigh*, Happy Birthday Michael.
