Jørgen Møller was a lawyer and chess player who in 1898 published an analysis of the Giuoco Piano (C54) with 9.d5, which is still today referred to as "the Møller Attack".

Møller was the strongest Danish player of his era. He won the Nordic Championship 1899 and 1901, and placed 2nd in 1897 and 1903. In 1907, he placed 4th in the International Chess Tournament of Copenhagen.
