Santos became a FIDE Master in 2011 and an International Master with effect from 15 August 2013. (1) He was the Spanish U10 champion in 2006, the Spanish U12 champion in 2008 and the Spanish U14 championship in 2010. (2) He was 19th in the San Sebastian Open 2009. (3) He placed =3rd (4th on tiebreak) at the European U18 Junior Championship of 2014. (4) He is also a FIDE Instructor (2015).

  sisyphus: Perhaps Sr. Bidmonfa should have noted that on July 11 Jaime Santos won the Spanish Under-12 championship. He's the same kid who beat Paco Vallejo in a simul when he was 9.

Spanish U10 and U12 champion 2006 and 2008. Placed 4th in Spanish U14 Ch 2009, 13th in European U14 Ch 2009, 19th in San Sebastian Open 2009 (= 2500+ perf.).
