Open Defence: Yes but she married Pravin Thipsay hence the surname
Apr-04-07  sheaf: wow this lady beat miles twice with either color.
Aug-14-09  kramputz: It is a mouthfull of a name. I would not want to teach my 10 year-old grandson to spell it. Male or female, that is the question???. The answer : Here is the FIDE card........ 5001013 Thipsay, Bagyashree Sathe
Federation India
FIDE title Woman Intl. Master
Rating: 2186
B-Year 1961
Sex Female
Aug-14-09  WhiteRook48: wow that's the question???
Aug-14-12  saiprasad: She is sister of Pravin Thipsay
Aug-14-12  Benzol: Sister or Wife of Praveen Mahadeo Thipsay ?
Aug-14-12  harish22: Wife. She was Bhaghyashree Sathe before she married. I think Pravin has two brothers
Aug-14-12  harish22: Some of games in this list are played by Pravin. I doubt that Bhaghyashree participated in mens olympiad in 1982 against ULf andersoon. The games against Miles also seem to have been played by Pravinn Thipsay. Especially the Q v/s 2R's. Both these games exhibit his style
Aug-14-12  TheFocus: Just trying to pronounce her name makes me tipsy.
Aug-14-12  Cemoblanca: <TheFocus> :D
Feb-09-14  Poisonpawns: "heramb" on ICC
