KONSTANTIN ZAIVELEVICH LERNER (born Feb-28-1950, died Sep-24-2011) Ukraine (citizen of Israel) [what is this?] Konstantin Zaivelyevich Lerner was born in Odessa, USSR. He was awarded the IM title in 1978 and the GM title in 1986. He finished 2nd in the 1984 USSR Championship and 2nd= in the 1986 event.
