IM Sieciechowicz has been on the tournament circuit since 2004, with his first noteworthy results in individual tournaments being his second place in the Polish Boys Championship U-16 in 2007 with 8/11. In 2008, he came second in the Polish Boys Championship U16 in 2008 with 8.5/11, =2nd in 17th International Chess Festival Poznan and won the KS Pocztowiec Poznan Open Championship with 8.5/9. In 2010, he came =4th in the Marienbad Open 2010 - A - GM tournament and won the Polish U18 Boys Championship. In August 2010, he participated in the World Junior U20 Championship scoring 7/13, and a few months later in October he competed in the World Youth Chess Championships 2010 - Open under 18, scoring 6.5/11. In November he regained some ground by scoring 5.5/9 and coming third in the 26th Voivoda Cup in Poland behind IM (soon to be GM) Sethuraman P Sethuraman and GM Vladimir Sergeev. In 2011, Sieciechowicz came =1st in the 21st International Chess Festival in Cracow 2010, Open A (which finished in January 2011) and scored 5/9 in the Tata Steel B 2011 tournament.
