cro777: Bhakti Kulkarni officially became Goa's first Woman Grandmaster in September 2012 (after the World Chess Federation cleared her title at 83rd FIDE Congress in Istanbul).

Bhakti secured three norms, necessary to qualify for the title, through Marienbad Open in Czech Republic in January 2011, Asian Junior Girls under-20 at Sri Lanka in June 2011 and Caissa International in Hungary in September 2011.

sonia91: She just won the Asian Continental Championships (Women) (2016). This victory qualifies her for the 2018 k.o. Women's World Championship.

sonia91: ChessBase India reports that she became an <IM> after a 3,5/4 start at the Asian Continental Women's Championship, currently underway in Xingtai, China, as she gained 22 rating points to cross 2400.

However FIDE lists only two norms: I wonder where she achieved the 3rd norm.
