Grandmaster (2017).

Johan Salomon became a FIDE Master in 2014 and an International Master in 2015. Salomon finished runner-up in the 2015 Norwegian Championship and won the 2016 edition.

His IM norms were at the World U16 Championship in 2013, the Tradewise Gibraltar (2014) and the Tradewise Gibraltar (2015), the last mentioned finishing on 5 Feb 2015. (1) He gained his IM title aged 17 years 6 months and 29 days on that date as he was already rated over 2400 at the time.

Salomon was clear first in the powerful de Sitges Open held in July 2015 in Catalonia with 7.5/9, ahead of 8 GMS including Jorge Cori, 15 IMs and numerous other masters, also gaining a GM norm. (2)

  Penguincw: IM Johan Salomon does well at the SS Manhem Chess Week tournament, scoring 6.5/9, getting edged by GM Eduardas Rozentalis 26.25-26.

However, he does have a TPR of 2630, and gained 19 rating points (up to 2489), so that looks like another GM norm.
