WANG JUE
(born Oct-17-1995) China

[what is this?]
WGM (2012). One of China's top juniors.

Wang Jue won her first three WGM norms at the Chinese Championship (Women) (2011) in April 2011, at the Malaysian Open in August 2011, and at the Asian Women Continental Chess Championship (2012) in May 2012. For some reason her application for the WGM title also included a fourth WGM norm that she won at the Asian Nations Chess Cup, also held in May 2012. (1)

Her first three WGM norms were also sufficient as IM norms. It is unclear why this title was not applied for. (2) In addition, her 5.5/9 result at the 2013 HD Bank Open constituted her fourth IM norm.

soldal: No reason to assume that. Wang is the Chinese Smith or Jones. Two of the five games above are against other Wangs (Yu and Xiaohui).
