GrahamClayton: Frederick W. Blehr (11.1.1853-8.1.1915) was a Norwegian problem composer.
Jun-06-13  Karpova: According to page 15 of the 1915 'Wiener Schachzeitung', Blehr's zenith was between 1875 and 1886 while living in Christiania. He was also editor of the chess column of 'Aftonposten'.
May-13-18  Gejewe: "Lettisk Gambit" by Borge Andersen and Hartvig Nielsen (1973) mention him as a Norwegian, and problem-editor of "Nordisk Skaktidende" which fits in. The gamescore of his game with Hertzspring is flawed, skip 8.Qh3 Qe7 and continue 8.Qh6 Rxe4+ instead and stop the game after 33..c3 when White resigned. The Danes had the right gamescore from "Nordisk Skaktidende"
May-13-18  Count Wedgemore: His first name is Fredrik, not Frederick (which is the English form of the name). He had a weekly chess column in 'Aftenposten', one of Norway's leading newspapers, from 1887 until his death in 1915.

He was also one of the founders of Christiania Schakselskap (which later changed its name to Oslo Schakselskap), and for many years its principal administrator.

And yes, a respected problem composer.
