shivasuri4: Arjun Bharat gains a whopping 196.2 rating points in this rating period to move from 1960 to 2156 when the next rating list is released. He gained the points by beating an IM and drawing with several other IMs in a series of tournaments in Europe. At 12,he is a candidate master(gained the title in 2008).I hope for more to come from him in future. In 2007,I played against him in the U-16 district championships and drew with him playing black in 19 moves.I finished third in the small tournament with him finishing fourth. Now he's grown much stronger after being coached well by his father Bharat and subsquently GM Tejas Bakre. He is ranked 96th among U-12 players and should crack the top 50 in his category after the new list is released.
