Penguincw: Congrats to FM Balazs Csonka (40th seed) for finishing as the highest place FM at the Zalakaros Open. He was the only one in the top 40, and finished 5/9 (+2,-1,=5), but a loss of 2.5 rating points.

Penguincw: IM Balazs Csonka performed well at the 2018 Hungarian Rapid Championship, held in July. He scored 9/13, good for 6th-8th. The only non-GM to finish in the top 8.
