Candidate Master (2009); FIDE Master (2013); International Master (2015).

Amir Zaibi won his CM title when he placed =2nd at the Arab U20 Championship in Abu Dhabi in August 2008. He won his FM title under FIDE's 50% rule at the Zonal 4.1 held in 2013, and his IM title after winning the Zonal 4.1 of 2015, which qualified him to play in the World Cup (2015). At the World Cup, Zaibi met and lost to Fabiano Caruana, thereby bowing out of the event.
