zanzibar: OK, this is the kind of <CG> stuff that drives me a little bonkers...
We have tremendous amounts of information, but often without the underpinnings that allow the full confidence needed to trust it enough to utilize it reliantly.
This is a case in point.
As far as I can determine, this player's sole proven tournament entry is from the <Olympiad (2012)>, where both <TWIC> and the official site (and C-R too!) list the player as
But determining his FIDE id is hard, starting with the fact that the official site doesn't list FIDE id's in the PGN, and TWIC is missing one for this particular player. Nor is there a current FIDE card listed for a player with this name.
OTH - <CG> cavalierly cites a FIDE card:
while not noting that the player in question has a different name!
<Tagelsir , Abubaker>
Of course, given that latter player does show up in the 2016/2018 Olympiads, and the near similarity of Abubaker vs. Abubakr, one might reasonably postulate a correspondence.
But I won't recommend it as being based on a solid enough footing - for various reasons - not the least of which is the complete lack of documentation on the issue (i.e. the discrepancy).
And, even if the correspondence were correct, <CG> would be wrong to use the old name which has fallen out of use.
