Grandmaster Kollars received his title in 2017, soon after scoring eight points for share of 3rd-4th (4th after tiebreaks) with Shahin Lorparizangeneh (behind only Manuel Petrosyan and Maksim Vavulin respectively) at the World Youth Championship U18 (2016) at the 2016 U-18 WYCC group(3) which he returned to (as top 2017 seed(2, 3) and only GM registered) in 2017 at Uruguay(2). The then IM(1) Kollars entered the world's U-18 group of youth players above 25th position in 2016.
