In 1996, this FIDE master won the Canadian Cadet Championship with 6.5/9. He, Eric Hansen, Aman Hambleton and Romain Edouard provided lessons to the Quebec federation's participants before the 2015 CYCC started in Windsor(1, 2).


He joins Fabiano Caruana, Eric Hansen, Alexandre Lesiege, Michael Kleinman, Aman Hambleton, Elias Oussedik and Robin van Kampen on the Montreal Chessbrahs team.

  perfidious: Another memory from the long distant past is playing a number of Friday night blitz events with this youngster at the former Specialiste d'Echecs in Rue St Catherine Est, Montreal in the mid 1990s, though we did not often meet in them.
