U16 Czech champion in 1990. IM in 1992. Czech vice champion in 1995. Rating peak 2545 in 1996. Played in the 1996 olympiad (2nd reserve). GM in 1999. Played in European Team Ch's 2001 (board 3) and 2005 (1st reserve). Placed 3rd in the Czech Ch 2007.

He has several tournaments wins, see Wikipedia. Long time player for Erfurter SK in German Bundesliga.
