He became an IM in 1995 and earned the GM title in 2005. He placed =2nd in the 2011 Polish Championship.

Pawel represented Poland many times at the European Youth Chess Championship and World Junior Chess Championship in different age categories. The best results in 1988 (fourth place in Timișoara in a group of up to 14 years) and 1989 (sixth place in Puerto Rico in the same age group).(1)

May-11-05  AlaskanAmber: He's a 29-year-old Pole whose best performance to date was a tie for 3rd place in the Polish championship in 2000. Chessmetrics also credits him with a 2606 performance rating for a tournament at Swidnica in 1999, where he finished 2nd.
