Dec-26-04  Benzol: Ronald Camara
Born 11th April 1927 in Fortaleza
He was Brazilian Champion in 1960 and 1961.
Apr-11-08  brankat: Twice a Brazilian Champion. There must be many more R.Camara's games available, than just 9.
Apr-11-08  Benzol: He played Fischer at the Siegen Olympiad in 1970. As I posted on the Fischer thread earlier finding and posting/uploading his missing games is surely a worthwhile pursuit. Certainly more so than following the BS of the Trice/Labate feud.

As I'm busy with other games at the moment I'm not going to upload this one. So if anyone else wants to feel free.

Apr-11-08  brankat: <Benzol> <.. finding and posting/uploading his missing games is surely a worthwhile pursuit. Certainly more so than following the BS of the Trice/Labate feud.> Well said!

Thank You for the Fischer-Camara game.

Apparently, someone stated that either Trice or Labate would go to prison.

I say: hopefully both :-)

Apr-12-08  Benzol: <brankat> It's been brought to my attention by <vonKrolock> that the game from the Siegen Olympiad was played by Ronald Camara's brother. See Fischer vs H Camara, 1970
