Dr Cornelis (Carel) Carsten was an Amsterdam dermatologist who joined the V.A.S.¹ club in 1921. He died tragically shortly after the Netherlands were liberated in a confrontation between the BS (Binnenlandse Strijdkrachten), a combination of Dutch resistance fighters, and the Grüne Polizei, the German police. Feb-13-13		Pau: This is a correction from Arthur Rebattu on Sneaky Pete. Cornelis Carsten died at May 7, 1945 at 6.30 pm. Arthur wrote: "Beste Pauline, van Cornelis Carsten hebben we de overlijdensdocumenten gezien en opgeslagen in onze database met de artsenverklaring inzake de doodsoorzaak. Hij is op 7 mei 1945 om 18.30 uur overleden aan zijn schotwonden. Dus de informatie waarnaar je verwijst zal moeten worden bijgesteld."
