Jul-07-06  Benzol: Unless my info on his death date is incorrect he didn't play Sajtar in 1949. However, he did play at Meran in 1924 scoring (+0, =5, -5) and forfeiting three games against a fairly strong field that included Gruenfeld, Spielmann, Rubinstein, Colle and Tarrasch. One of the odd and regretable things about Meran 1924 was that there no tournament book produced for it.
Jul-07-06  weisyschwarz: <Benzol> Thanks for some info on a Calabrian.
Sep-17-09  whiteshark: <Luigi Miliani>

Birthdate 17-9-1875
Deceased 19-11-1944

which reconfirms <Benzol>'s information.

His son Giorgio Miliani did.
