(born Jan-21-1797, died Aug-17-1872, 75 years old) Italy

Ignazio Calvi became a political refugee in France, spending some 14 years there. During that time he became a leading player at the Cafe De La Regence and drew a match with Lionel Adalbert Bagration Felix Kieseritsky (+7, =1, -7) in 1845. He was also a study composer. In 1848 he finally returned to Italy joined the army and retired with the rank of major in 1862. He then became a pharmacist.
