Apr-27-06  Whitehat1963: The overachieving Steve Nash offset Kobe Bryant 's 29-point effort last night in Phoenix with 29 points of his own on 10-17 shooting from the field. He also yanked down 7 rebounds and passed out 9 assists in a losing cause, as the Lakers got by the Suns 99-93.
May-08-06  Whitehat1963: Nash and the suns move on to round two while Kobe will take another early vacation. Meanwhile, Bryant 's former teammate, Shaq, also moves to round two. The world just isn't fair, is it, Kobe?

TheAlchemist: Did anyone watch the first game Phoenix-Clippers? It must have been very exciting and entertaining. It ended in a 130-123 win for Phoenix, Nash scored 31 pts and dished out 12 assists, while Brand scored 40 (18/22 from the field)

Jim Bartle: Couldn't watch it. Nash on Brand: "At halftime I thought he wanted a new vote for MVP," or something like that.

130 points is an awful lot for the NBA these days. The Suns don't stand around much.

whiteshark: "Breaking through the first sodden layers of consciousness... the smell of fresh wool... they make me come back every day... day after day, back from the nothingness. The sickness, the taste of blood in my mouth, my tounge is raw. The gag must have slipped today... the foggy pain in my head... this was my unbroken routine for three months...very little of it is clear in retrospect save the agony of emerging from shock every day"
