May-19-12  TiburcioTinio: Happy birthday Jessica Sanchez! I hope you outmaneuver Phillip Phillips and become the 11th season's American Idol!

  wordfunph: Mabuhay ka, Jessica!

<Her mother is Filipino American originally from Bataan province in the Philippines. Inspired by her Roman Catholic grandmother, Sanchez carries a rosary everywhere and prays quietly before going on stage.>

May-19-12  TiburcioTinio: While waiting for Jessica Sanchez to sing her final songs at the American Idol, let's solve a mate in two puzzle:

May-24-12  TiburcioTinio: Great AI run Jessica! You have a great career ahead of you. Run faster so you'll catch it!
May-24-12  bubuli55: Congratulations Jessica Sanchez for getting to the finals of American Idol. As Ryan Seacrest said out of over 100,000 who auditioned all over America if came down to two persons. No easy feat. Good job. Congratz and God bless
May-24-12  dunkenchess: It is impossible for Jessica Sanchez to be the American Idol. For one she is not a true blooded American girl. Her mother is from the Philippines and her father comes from Mexico. The show is American Idol not Half-American Idol.

Further, the American Idol is not a talent show but a favorite show. The favorite of the Americans was PP, a true blooded American boy. PP has got no talent. Look how he grimaces when hitting a high note. The 3rd song that he rendered was less on the voice but the people in the stage who was acting to dance his song that made the 3 judges (stooges) to stand.

That is how it is.

May-24-12  sleepless in seattle: So very true Dunken, I'm not watching idol anymore, PP sings like he is constipated, honest but true. He will be forgotten in a short while just like all the other WGWG but Jessica will prove them wrong, let's support her and buy her songs. I did'nt watch it after learning from the East Coast that PP won. I'm a poor loser sorry.
May-24-12  TiburcioTinio: Well at least get to see her duet with Jennifer Holliday (not sure bout spelling of surname) towards the end of the awards night. J-lo stood up, twisting, like she's having multiple orgasm.
May-25-12  bubuli55: Hahaha hagalpak ako sa MO Bilib ako Kay J Sanchez. Sumasabay Kay Jennifer Holliday :)

hahaha! bosh tayo dyan <tibz> yayyy!

May-25-12  Jim Bartle: You shouldn't feel too bad. I don't remember names, but I think a lot of the second- and third-place finishers in American Idol have gone on to more successful musical careers than the winners. From the little I've seen, Jessica Sanchez is an excellent singer, and it doesn't hurt that she's beautiful as well.

Oh man, I hate to say this, but finally me and JB have something in common.

May-26-12  voratco: Oh man, it was really not meant to be for her. Judge it for yourselves.

<“The songs they presented me with weren’t winning songs, said Jessica of the single.”That was the closest thing to a winning song.”>

May-26-12  Jim Bartle: voratco: I may not always succeed, but I try to keep differences with posters on one page from spreading to other pages. I try to start from zero.

talisman: this is for every red-blooded male who who bites his tounge, sits there quietly, and says nothing having to watch American Idol...it's over though!
May-26-12  TiburcioTinio: Nachet. They still have their Idol Tour.
May-26-12  joeyj: Oh i though another GM Joseph Sanchez PHI ? LOL

Congratz JS for being a "World Idol" and a "Chessgames Idol" as well !!!

May-27-12  kardopov: The future beckons. Second best is not bad at all. Mind you, If the contest was held in another country, I bet Phillip would be the first to get evicted. This guy has lesser talent than all the 11 finalist.
May-27-12  sleepless in seattle: She will be our idol and let's support her by purchasing her songs, keep singing beautiful music Jessica!!!
May-28-12  voratco: <kardopov: The future beckons. Second best is not bad at all. Mind you, If the contest was held in another country, I bet Phillip would be the first to get evicted. This guy has lesser talent than all the 11 finalist.>

I don't think he will ever make the cut. Personally, I can see him on some pizza parlor's one man band. Hey, that blind man sitting by Baclaran church has more vibes than he does. I usually pitch in 20 pesos whenever I pass him by singing, < Mundong puting puti> which roughly translate to <It's a white white world>. Correct me on the translation please?

May-28-12  MORPHYEUS: Ok. I think the above posts about Philip2 are all BS, but i can't help laughing on the "pizza parlor". LOL.

tpstar: I just saw Jessica Sanchez perform at the National Memorial Day Concert in Washington DC. I never heard her sing before since I don't follow "American Idol" like many of you girls. She opened the concert with "The Star Spangled Banner" and ended with "God Bless America" fronting all of the other performers. She did a fantastic job!

What a great American.

May-28-12  voratco: Oh no, a queen bee with yellow teeth is following our trail, take defensive stance, put your oxygen breathing apparatus. She's about to ruin everybody's day.

Take your pills, tpstar, your fingers are trembling. Don't let me be in your mind, daily.
