Apr-04-04  ruylopez900: What's with this guy, A Knight and A Bishop? are they characters in some old instruction manual (or even newer instruction manual)? It seems odd that they all be named as such.
Oct-15-05  DutchDunce: For A King, he sure doesn't have a kingly W/L record.
Oct-15-05  GBKnight: Andrew King, brother of GM Danny King, if I am not mistaken.
Nov-22-05  EmperorAtahualpa: An interesting match would be "A King vs B Kong"

Get out the way woman, I got to be movin' on

I've been down since I began to crawl
If it wasn't for bad luck
I wouldn't have no luck at all
Dec-23-08  WhiteRook48: What's with A King, A Prince, Bishop, and A Knight?
Dec-24-08  WhiteRook48: A King doesn't seem to be much of a king.
Jan-15-09  WhiteRook48: "A King vs B Kong"
Ha ha ha ha ha!! Let's watch king kong! :)
Oct-19-11  Whitehat1963: Not THE King, eh, <OhioChessFan>?
Oct-30-11  Doctor Aust: Given the dates of three UK games (late 70s), good chance it was GM Daniel King's elder brother Andrew, as GBKnight pointed out (Oct-15-05). He is/was a couple of years older than Daniel and was a 2000-2100 rated junior player in his mid to late teens (around the time of the games). He was actually Andrew J King, but the second initial seems to have dropped off somewhere.
