  Phony Benoni: Anybody have an idea if Rudy was indeed the Blumenfeld who played at Haifa/Tel Aviv in 1958? I'm a bit suspicious, but have no proof one way or the other.

  chessgames.com: <Phony> We believe it was; at the very least, the other major databases (ChessLab, ChessBase, NIC) concur with this. Note that we now more of his games from the same event now.
