Tabanus: The bio says he was born "Nov-23-1915",

but http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_K...(chess_player) says he was born in 1930?

Nov-30-14  Karpova: Gaige gives 23 November 1915 for Paul Klein of Ecuador on p. 215 of 'Chess Personalia' (paperback).

Tabanus: <Karpova> Thanks! Wikipedia must be wrong here.

This picture from 1960 has Paul Klein (supposedly at age 45) standing to the left: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_qiRgsnx7G...

Nov-30-14  Karpova: In addition, I found this one http://www.geni.com/people/Paul-KLE... which gives 23 November 1915 to March 1992.

Tabanus: http://memoriasdeldeporte.com/wp-co... (takes some time to load) (p. 20-27) gives a detailed account of his life!
Nov-23-24  Nosnibor: Playing and beating J.Eising in the Meinberg Open 1986 was surely "Icing on the cake" for Paul.
