Jul-06-08    brankat: <gangstaman> It is not uncommon in Serbian/Croatian language to have words beginning with 3 consonants. <Why is it that we can't simply write names as they are pronounced?> That's precisely the principle in the aforementioned language: "Pronounce as You write, write as You pronounce". Namely, one symbol (letter) for 1 sound. Jul-06-08    HSOL: IIRC there's a Bulgarian international goalkeeper in football doing the "double" by being named Zdravko Zdravkov.
