whiteshark: Mr. Ziegler, in your new book you write: <"The Third World War against the Peoples of the Third World has long since begun."> What do you mean by that?

Jean Ziegler : "The 23 specialized agencies of the United Nations must submit their annual reports to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations every June. And in these reports it is clear what I am talking about. The reports show who are the victims of <contaminated water, hunger, wars, climate damage and epidemics, etc.> They are all people who live in the Third World countries. From these reports it becomes clear that we are talking about <a victim of 53 million people in a year!> In the Second World War a total of 57 million people died, both civilians and soldiers.

These two figures alone show that we are dealing with a world war against the Third World countries."
