NIKOLA SPIRIDONOV (born Feb-28-1938) Bulgaria [what is this?] Nikola Spiridonov was awarded the IM title in 1970 and the GM title in 1979. He won the Bulgarian Championship in 1969 (after a play-off). His best tournament results include equal firsts at Polanica Zdroj 1971 and Varna 1974.
