Dec-29-08  Interbond: Today he is playing BDG Hubsch defence against GM Mchedlishvili. Always fun to watch a BDG game at this level

Penguincw: Congrats to untitled Odin Blikra Vea (2234) for upsetting 10th seed Zoran Jovanovic (2518) today at the Bosna Open. The 10th seed is the highest seed to lose their 2nd round game.

Later today, he'll face 4th seed GM Predrag Nikolic (2618), who was held to a draw earlier today, the highest seed to not start out 2/2.

Penguincw: He would lose to Nikolic, but then won 2 more games, followed by a draw, 2 losses and then one last draw to finish with 5/9 (+4,-3,=2). Still, he gained 27.4 rating points.
