|Feb-16-11|| ||HeMateMe: The (Chicago Bear) Fridge can drink!
" "Man, you're about as big as a refrigerator.'' That's all it took: the kid was forever more Refrigerator Perry -- or "Fridge'' for short.
Perry might have been ambivalent about the nickname, but he was ecstatic to be one of the guys. Or at least he assumed he was one of the guys. When the players went out partying, they made sure the Fridge came along, if only for the entertainment value. One thing about being a 300-pounder -- a six pack doesn't even crack the surface. He says <he could drink two cases of beer in one sitting> [48 cans of beer!] -- maybe three on a hot, steamy day -- and his teammates all wanted to be witnesses, as in every weekend.
When he came back to Aiken that summer, his younger brother Daryl saw him throw down a six pack or three and remembers thinking, "This is getting out of hand.'' But Daryl also figured it was just a college phase his brother was in. Surely, when the Chicago Bears picked the 325-pound Perry in the first round of the 1985 draft four years later, the Fridge would get serious. Right? He'd go to Chi-town, bring his lunch bucket and get to work. Right? He'd just blend in and be anonymous, overshadowed by Walter Payton, Mike Singletary and Jim McMahon. Right?

|Aug-14-11|| ||HeMateMe: I was drinking 19.5% port the other night, and my companion drank me under the table. I outweigh her by 100 pounds. Nice wine, I figured she might get tipsy....girl must have a hollow left leg.|
|Oct-27-11|| ||HeMateMe: Most expensive sports beer? The stadium in St. Louis, where the RAms play, now charges $9 for a small (8 oz.) beer.|
Occupy St. Looie! We must effect a change!
|Oct-27-11|| ||JoergWalter: <HeMateMe>
here is the real beer
43% of alcohol
and 0,33 ltr for just € 100.
Blue Label is a bargain compared to that.
|Oct-27-11|| ||HeMateMe: I can't drink that kind of beer. Four Loco has a beer that is 12% alcohol, I don't even like that. It's ok in a strong wine, but a lot of alcohol kills good beer.|
|Oct-27-11|| ||JoergWalter: I can't afford that beer so I don't know the taste.
But you are right, good beer should not have as much alcohol as an aftershave.
Traditional beerbrewing will not allow that high alcohol as the yeast will "die" before. They are probably dehydrating the brew in order to stay within the legal constraints of beermaking here in germany (just water, hop, malt and yeast)
