 | | tpstar: <mack> Thanks for updating the Game Collection. :) Some pun suggestions: RuPaul
Alexandro the Great
Thomson Twins
Master-Phil
I like how you included the handles, but there are a few left incomplete. When you get a chance, bloke. =) |
| Feb-05-06 | | mack: Cheers tpstar, will probably use most of those. |
| May-17-06 | | Cecil Brown: Now a Kingpin columnist!
Not a bad first effort. The FDM wasn't Brian Foster from Leeds was it? He's actually a nice guy, but he is the only man I've ever seen drinking whiskey from the bottle in a Methodist Church. |
| May-31-06 | | mack: <The FDM wasn't Brian Foster from Leeds was it?> I have no idea!
I always feel a bit sheepish about posting on 'my' page because I automatically shoot to the top of the recent kibitzing list. |

 | | suenteus po 147: <mack> Cheers on having a win posted. You're now 33% a winner! ;) |
| Jul-25-06 | | Cecil Brown: New ECF grading list is out and <Mack> is on it this year: http://grading.bcfservices.org.uk/g... If only we knew what <WMD>'s real name was we could look up his grade too..... |
| Jul-25-06 | | Cecil Brown: It's just like stalking... |
| Jul-25-06 | | mack: Yes, I'm not entirely sure how that happened. I lost against a super-mega child whizz-kid who technically only has a rating of 48 but is probably about four times that - so that screwed my ECF up a bit. And I had a terrible Bury St Edmunds congress in 2004, too. My true rating's probably about 120. |
| Jul-25-06 | | mack: Oh, and <Cecil>, do you fancy divulging your rating? |
| Jul-25-06 | | Cecil Brown: Fair's fair, this is me under my real name:-
http://grading.bcfservices.org.uk/g... Only my Saturday league games are actually ECF graded, up here we mostly rely on our Yorkshire Chess Association grades. Last season I was 128 from 26 games. I'll be dropping a bit this year. |
| Jul-25-06 | | mack: I see that you too are sexless according to the ECF. |
| Jul-26-06 | | Cecil Brown: <you too are sexless> Uncomfortably close to the truth, I live like a monk :-( I like the idea of being ageless better. But even with eternity to study the game, I doubt I'd break 135. |
Jul-27-06
 | | tpstar: <mack> Happy Birthday! Try not to be sexless today. ;>D |

 | | Benzol: Happy birthday <mack>. <suenteus po 147> is right, we do need to get your bio going. We know the day but what year? |
| Jul-27-06 | | GBKnight: Lads, its no fun if you start giving out your real identities ! Incognito I say ! |
| Jul-28-06 | | TheSlid: What chance for the Tractor Boys next year? |
| Jul-28-06 | | mack: <What chance for the Tractor Boys next year?> Funny you should say that - I'm just back from watching us play Lazio in a friendly, and despite the fact we lost 2-0, we, well, weren't too bad at all. Alan Lee created a few decent chances in between beating up the Lazio keeper, and Darren Currie is already looking heaps better than last year. And cheers for all the birthday messages, lads. |
| Aug-11-06 | | TheSlid: The trouble with Italians is that they always just score more goals than you, without actually playing much better. Bolton have the same philosophy, but with even fewer goals and even less football. |
| Aug-11-06 | | mack: Clearly the Lazio game was no fluke - our opening two games have seen a 2-1 defeat at home to Crystal Palace and a 1-0 loss away at ten-man Wolves. Tomorrow's trip to Leicester is none too appetising. |
Jul-28-07
 | | Benzol: How old is Mr Daniels today? |
