Sep-26-08  PetShopB: LI Chao will gain 31.5 points to reach 2622 in the October rating list.
Sep-30-08  PetShopB: Yep, his rating is now 2622 - over 2600 for the first time. Fide have done their rating list early ..He has also earned some points in the russia match. It will interesting to see how many games he gets to play as a reserve in the Olympiad. If he gets to play in other tournament too he could reach 2650 by the year out.
Feb-13-09  gibble: I believe Li Chao's rating might go up to 2660+ in the next rating list.

GM Chao Li gunning for a historic win next month!
26.07.2009 – Of all the events in the Asia-Pacific region, the IGB Dato' Arthur Tan Malaysia Open is establishing itself, not only as an annual tradition, but as a location for chess tourism and tough over-the-board battles. For those looking for a reason to take part, consider the tourist options, and the strong contingent of players converging on the area. Pictorial report by Edwin Lam.

Oct-30-09  redwhitechess: Just not confused, I hope this is about "Li Chao B". THere is another Li Chao who rated about 2300 on Fide list.
