Sep-03-11 Judit Polgar vs Karjakin, 2011
| |
Antonina: Ruy Lopez, I think.
| | May-30-11 Jonkman vs T Ellenbroek, 1996
| |
Antonina: 8...Qb4 9.a3 Qe7 10.Nxe4 and black loses only a minor piece.
| | Apr-24-11 Judit Polgar
| |
Antonina: I'm not as talented as her, but I'm hardworking and I hope one day I'll be as good as she is. She's great!
| | Apr-24-11 M Socko vs O Iljushina, 2011
| |
Antonina: Very nice game. Richter-Rauzer is, in my opinion, one of the best opening systems for white.
| | Apr-09-11 Kasparov vs G Wood, 1998
| |
Antonina: 4...d5 is not a blunder. I played against this as white and I lost. I agree that the rest of the game is a series of black's mistakes, especially Bd7 losing the queen.
| | Apr-05-11 Von Der Lasa vs Hensel, 1836
| |
Antonina: Black shouldn't protect his pawn but develop the pieces. Why did he play QGA if he didn't understand this opening?
| | Apr-05-11 P Damiano vs NN, 1512
| |
Antonina: Why 11... Nbc6?? It loses immediately. In my opinion Qd6 is a better move.
| | Mar-29-11 Kasparov vs Nunn, 1986
| |
Antonina: Of course Nunn has a worse position but why not try f. ex.
18... Qe7
19. Bxd4 Qxg5
20. Bd5+ Be6 where black's a bishop down but can look for a draw. I agree it's a lost game for black but I wouldn't give up so quickly.

| | Mar-18-11 Rybka vs Nakamura, 2008
| |
Antonina: I love this game! Mate with five bishops... Nakamura has a good sense of humour indeed. It's also interesting that neither in the opening nor in the middlegame was exchanged a single pawn.
| | Feb-12-11 K Kanakari vs M Przezdziecka, 2006
| |
Antonina: Very funny. My ranking is lower than 1400, but Kanakari plays even worse than I do. Nice game also by Marta who's Polish like me :)
