I am trying to straighten out the <other> NY 1893 ("Masters") tournament. The Library of Congress has issues of <The Sun> online and with only five games per round, <The Sun> published all the game scores. It appears they did the same for the "Impromptu" tournament, although I only spot-checked Round 1. In any event, Showalter vs E Delmar, 1893 was played in the Masters, not the Impromptu.
