Chris1Clark: Am I being dumb surely 24. dxc6+ would be better d6+ queen then drops while Rxd1+ gives some compensation and is met with Bc1. I'm sure I am missing something but that was my line and I stopped there.

Chris1Clark: OK why not 26. Ra8+ Kb7 27. Qb3+ Kxa8 28 Ra1# all is forced and it is a lot quicker unless I am being very dense which would not be the first time.

Chris1Clark: Too easy really. 33....Qf6 was just horrible and couldn't see what he was at with that. Shame to see IM's fall foul of a bit of wood pushing but hey just shows we are all human which makes it the game it is.

Chris1Clark: A very nice one but I didn't get past the tin opener piece of exposing the king so must admit didn't see Rxa2 but by then you had some options but Rxa2 was so forcing the rest just fell into place.
Am going to go and take a look to see how white ends up with so much material ...

Chris1Clark: Is 16...Kf8 from black a mistake as Kg8 then gives 17. Qb3+ Kh8 18. Nf7+ Kg8 19 N can now move to reveal check but no where deadly. Can some one with a larger brain or a silicone enhanced one put me right.

Chris1Clark: Manage to spot the pending queen trap with ...Bd7 leaving one flight sq only. So prophalactic Rb2 but I expected a queen exchange and a draw like set of lines. Gets too complex for me after the first move.
