Chunkey Monkey: Was there not some controversy or a clarification of queenside castling rules in Korchnoi and Karpov in '78 too but they might have been messing. VK apparently was told a new rule by the arbiter and Tolya went a bit funny but I could well be wrong.

Chunkey Monkey: I was looking for the white move for a while...cough cough. The art of attack in chess by Vukovic deals with all these rudimentary mating patterns and Nunn has computer evaluated the oversights in pre-Fritz analysis but I find it an enjoyable read. Just bought Larsen's games ...
