   Aug-19-09 Mieses vs Janowski, 1895

Fanacas: You should read the notes form teichmann completly mieses came musch better out of the opening and coukld have one if he didnt make the mistake with the combination.

Aug-11-09 Pierre Charles Fournier de Saint Amant (replies)

Fanacas: He was morphy's second against his match with anderssen.

   Aug-11-09 Paul Morphy (replies)

Fanacas: I readed that Pierre charles fournier the saint ammant, was morphy's second against his match with anderssen, (apprently de saint ammant and morphy where on realy good terms with each other (unlike staunton))

   Aug-11-09 Vienna Game (C27) (replies)

Fanacas: Nothing wrong with 3...Nc6 but 3....Nxe4 is just a little better personaly i would probaly never play 3.bc4 3.f4 is much more intresting, fierce, and porbaly a little better (alteast that is what my opening book of the vienna says)

   Jun-17-09 Jacques Mieses (replies)

Fanacas: I always thought it strange that there arent that many mieses variations in the vienna, scandinavian, and center game, even tought mieses played them many times and did musch wich iit theories.

Jun-10-09 Bird vs Blackburne, 1886 (replies)

Fanacas: No offence but if you take morphy tho this age he would suck in chess 2 ^^ compaered with the old master we learn form them ^^. And 1....e5 isent the best answer against 1.f4 lasker himself said it many other grandmaster said it 1....d5 is porbaly better.

   Jun-10-09 Emanuel Lasker (replies)

Fanacas: You forgot one thing kasparov narrowly won from karpov, and in there first match he probaly would have lost if they shouldnt have startet all over kasparov and karpov agreed on that. As karpov said kasparov has had a month the time to study my playing style, and kasparov himself ...

Jun-09-09 Mieses vs Alekhine, 1913 (replies)
