Fiberking: <boz: took a deep combination by Kramnik> You are certainly right about that.

Mar-25-13 Kramnik vs Carlsen, 2013 (replies)

Fiberking: Does not look good for MC. Behind on time. A position that Kramnik has prepared and loves. Weak pawns. He may not win this.

Fiberking: <ajile: Nigel at the live feed is hilarious. > He is. I am glued to the screen because of him. OK, the chess ain't bad either.

Mar-15-13 Aronian vs Carlsen, 2013 (replies)

Fiberking: <boz> Completely symmetrical at the end.

Feb-28-13 Kramnik vs Caruana, 2013 (replies)

Fiberking: Whatever the outcome, I am really enjoying Kramnik's rather aggressive play.

Feb-09-13 Caruana vs Naiditsch, 2013 (replies)

Fiberking: 32... Qg2 was actually bad. After 33. Nd4 the advantage is back in white's hands now. Incredible find by Caruana in intense time trouble.

Feb-08-13 Anand vs Caruana, 2013 (replies)

Fiberking: Rumor has it that "25.Qb1 is the novelty in Anand-Caruana 25.Ng4 Qg5 has been played before."

May-20-11 Gelfand vs Grischuk, 2011 (replies)

Fiberking: You know what, I really agree that Fide set up a lousy system. But hey, I still enjoy these games! And if you are really principled in wanting to 'punish' Fide for their lousy leadership, you should not follow top level chess at all - and that as of 1974 or something.

May-19-11 Grischuk vs Gelfand, 2011 (replies)

Fiberking: Yasser Seirawan on Chess Radio: Ke3 and Kc3 both look good, but Grischuk is looking for a way not to give black any counter play. Meanwhile, Gelfand is looking for way to hold. We all play chess to have fun, and I do not see any fun in black's position.

May-13-11 Kramnik vs Grischuk, 2011 (replies)

Fiberking: <PinnedPiece: What's wrong with 16. Qa4?> Perhaps 16. Qa4 is not the best. It would trigger 16... b6 and a black Bd7 soon after, losing a tempo or being forced to put the lady on the awkward looking a3 square.
