46 year old in Illinois. I learned to play chess during the Fischer/Spassky match and at the time I worshipped Bobby- as an adult, I have come to appreciate Boris even more than that. And now I'm a huge fan of Kasparov. With all of his faults- still the best player of ALL TIME. And my favorite openning? Well, duh....

Jan-27-17 Wei Yi vs Karjakin, 2017 (replies)
GiuocoPianoMan: <Chesstorian72> Magnus lost 1 game here, too. Should he retire? Dont be ridiculous. Sergey is -2, but even in defeat- Sergey is a classic good sport and a gentleman.
Jan-21-17 Tata Steel (Challengers) (2017) (replies)
GiuocoPianoMan: I find it fascinating that Anish finally won a game at a time and place where his wife is having a disastrous result. Almost as if he is defending the family pride. Coincidence?
