My current rating is 1544, or something like that, and is rising steadily. I really hope to become a GM one day, and I really admire Sammy Reshevky.

My favorite openings for white are the English, the Catalan and the Reti

For black: the Dragon Sicilian and the Center-Counter.

Long Live 1. d4!! and 1. c4!!

   Feb-08-06 Alekhine vs A Vajda, 1921

GreenDayGuy: It doesn't matter, since it was still beautiful. Just enjoy the game for what it is.

GreenDayGuy: <The17thPawn> After that sequence, what about Qd7, winning a piece?

   Jan-24-06 Karosz vs C Jaffe, 1936 (replies)

GreenDayGuy: Yes, unless black plays Kc8 :)

   Jan-07-06 V Osnos vs D Komarov, 1986

GreenDayGuy: What an amazing mating net by Osnos!

GreenDayGuy: What about 40... Be7?

Jan-06-06 Romanishin vs Cihelashvili, 1968 (replies)

GreenDayGuy: Yay go rook and two passed pawns!

   Jan-06-06 Sokolsky vs P Romanovsky, 1947 (replies)

GreenDayGuy: Wow cool. Are you sure <Kangaroo>?

   Jan-06-06 Schlechter vs W John, 1905 (replies)

GreenDayGuy: Just enjoy the game, because I'm sure Schlechter did!

   Jan-06-06 W John vs Janowski, 1914 (replies)

GreenDayGuy: Black's openning was very poor, but this was still a great game. When playing the sicilian defence, instead of 4... Nf6, I think that 4... g6 is slightly better, but that's just me.

   Jan-05-06 M Judd vs H Hosmer, 1871

GreenDayGuy: The ending also... even I saw that Ba6 could stop the pawn...
