Jul-25-11 Morozevich vs Shirov, 2011 (replies)

Hidden Skillz: <nummerzwei>Exactly. It's not uncommon for Moro to miss simple wins. We have seen that over and over again. Qd2 threw the win away. After 25... Qxc4, White can counter with Rc1

   Aug-19-09 Kasimdzhanov vs I Cheparinov, 2009 (replies)

Hidden Skillz: <JohnBoy> your line leads to mate or the loss of a knight. in any case, black is totally lost. unless i am missing something, i thought 40...Rg8 was the best try.

   Aug-04-09 E J Diemer vs K Locher, 1948 (replies)

Hidden Skillz: black can avoid mate here easily, but one should point out that it is still a lost position. for instance, the best continuation would go as follows.. 19... Ne4 20.Nxf7 Kg6 21.Rhf1 Rf8 22.Bxe4+ Qf5 23.Rxf5 Rxf7 24.Rf2+ Rf5 25.Bxf5+ etc..

   Jul-29-09 Morozevich vs M Vachier-Lagrave, 2009 (replies)

Hidden Skillz: it's not the first time that moro is missing outright winning lines. i remember few years ago against aronian he had the Kh4!! move that would have secured him the win, but somehow he missed it. i might as well add the game against carlsen where he similarly blundered in a ...

   Nov-09-08 Gelfand vs L Dominguez, 2008

Hidden Skillz: oh, wow, this must be a bad joke lol.

   Oct-06-08 Svidler vs A Riazantsev, 2008 (replies)

Hidden Skillz: when was the last time svidler went into a tournament having three wins right off the bat? it's quite strange not seeing any draws thus far.

Aug-24-08 Morozevich vs Ponomariov, 2008 (replies)

Hidden Skillz: pono messed up due to the chaotic pressure moro presented on him. even though it may not be a special game, it clearly is a typical morozevich game and nonetheless a nice one.

Dec-23-07 Crafty vs Nakamura, 2007 (replies)

Hidden Skillz: i've seen kamsky do this horsing around against a stronger program(forgot the name of it)

   Dec-15-07 Alexander Alekhine (replies)

Hidden Skillz: <Now we finally know Alekhine's true strength. In doesn't reflect all that well on Capablanca either. Being convincingly beaten by an 1,800 guy. As for the "unnecessary" complexity of Alekhine's game, one could say the same for Michelangelo, Shakespeare, Bach and ...

Oct-22-07 Judit Polgar vs Bu Xiangzhi, 2007 (replies)

Hidden Skillz: <tal lover>white has Rxe6 with two rooks and two extra pawns
